The Zhorn (Taxonomically Ambulans stilla; dubbed Blobs by humans) are a Tier 3 race of near-amphibians. As of 2601, they became members of the Interstellar Union. Their unique biology allows them to emit melodic sounds from the six openings on their foreheads, that have been compared to that of a harp.
