Fedora's grave robbing gang included a truck driver who helped recover the Cross of Coronado in 1912. After a young Indiana Jones stole the Cross of Coronado out from under the clutches of Fedora and his gang, he escaped on a horse. However, Fedora signaled the driver, who arrived with the band's truck to pursue Indiana accompanied by Panama Hat in a separate vehicle. Jones eventually escaped onto a Dunn & Duffy Combined Circus train and the truck driver pulled his truck alongside the train to allow the gang, minus himself, climb aboard to continue their pursuit.
