The Gazelle is different from the more commonly seen Hind gunship because it had short and stubby wings on which only two rocket pods with machine guns were mounted. The Gazelle was much smaller than the Hind and had a more gangly frame, allowing for easier maneuverability and lighter weight. The Gazelle was seen alongside Colonel Zaysen's Hind as it flew through the mountains of Afghanistan and approached the Mujahideen camp in Khost.
