Sammuro fruit is a type of fruit that grows on Aiur. Similar to passion fruit, it has knobby avocado-like skin and purple flesh. It can be eaten by itself and its juice can be extracted. The sammuro fruit is known to the protoss via its smell, but due to the limits of their physiology, its taste is unknown to them. Terrans are capable of eating and drinking sammuro fruit (juice), but it is extremely hard to come by, even on the black market. Crime lord Ethan Stewart is one of the few to have obtained samples.
