BRP Bacolod is a Bacolod Class Amphibious Aircraft Carrier. It's the first of 3 planned Bacolod Class Landing ships, mainly BRP Dagupan and BRP Davao. Its stationed at Philippine Navy headquarters, Metro Manila, and part of the 1st Fleet Philippine Navy. Its main purpose is to provide amphibious landings for the Philippine Marine Corps, and also provide the Philippine Navy's naval aviation units. Its aircraft is comprised of F-35B Lightning II, and numerous attack, transport, and maritime protection choppers.
