Menahu was the native language of the Menahuun species from Lamaredd. Menahuun rarely learned to speak Basic. Known words and expressions in Menahuun include "Hua'Bal", meaning "Hidden Glory" (used as the name of his community). Byrch Dyshkava learned to speak Menahu during the several decades he spent as a prisoner of the Menahuun.
