Pulitzer Prize winning author and journalist Geraldine Brooks wrote March, Nine Parts of Desire, Year of Wonders: A Novel of the Plague, Foreign Correspondence and People of the Book. She was born and grew up in Australia. Ms Brooks has worked as a journalist for publications in both Australia and the United States.
