By making eye contact, Shinobu traps the target in the genjutsu. The victim becomes entangled in razor wire and is suspended up off the ground, tied in the spread eagle position. At first the target struggles, fighting to get lose, only to have the barbs cut deeper into the victim's wrists and ankles. After a while the target perceives their comrades arriving to save them. The target's comrades proceed to walk/crawl across the wire leading to the victim. With the added weight the wire cut even deeper than before.
