The Mushroom Kingdom is one of the largest kingdoms found in the Mushroom World and is usually the setting of many Mario games. Its monarch is Princess Peach and its capital is Toad Town. Bowser, in numerous occasions, has attempted to take over this kingdom by kidnapping and subsequently marrying Princess Peach, but his plan was always foiled by Mario and his brother Luigi. In Super Smash Flash 2, the Mushroom Kingdom is the name of the first stage in the regular Adventure Mode. Mushroom Kingdom appears also in A Super Mario World as the main world of the cartoon.
