Construction of the Asclepius was completed on reference stardate 2/1907, in the latter part of the 2270s decade. This vessel was commissioned at one of the the shipyards that produced Reliant-class vessels, either Morena Shipyards, Sol IV Fleet Yards or Salazaar Shipyards. Asclepius was refit to a mark III vessel on stardate 2/2204, in the early 2280s. (FASA RPG module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)
