The best way to defeat a Black Guard Dwarf is to use a mage. The Black Guard Dwarf, at 5 strength less than a Black or White Knight, is not as powerful as its Saradomin or Zamorak lvl.2 warrior counterparts. However, as a Guthix unit, it has more mobility and better defense bonuses when on a forest tile. Because of this, and the popularity of Guthix units among f2ps, the Black Guard dwarf is used by those who prefer strength over mobility. More people, however, choose the Mounted Terrorbird because it is so useful against barbarians.
