The Flame of Tripoli was a Barbary corsair slave ship captained by Al-Kurkuman. The flag was a red scimitar on a gold background. While in European waters, it was pursued by the Greek Navy vessel, the Achilles. Al-Kurkuman maintained a friendly relationship with Raphael Thuron.
