Star Wars Battlefront III was to be the sixth game in the Battlefront series (including Renegade and Elite Squadron), developed by Free Radical and produced by Lucasarts, back when Free Radical was in charge of Battlefront III. However, when Free Radical went bust and was bought by Crytek UK, Battlefront III was apparently cancelled. Now, all hope of Battlefront III rests with DICE, who could now potentially be making Battlefront III with the Frostbite 3 engine, but if they do make it (depending on if Battlefront III sells well; that said, there isn't any confirmation that it is still being developed) it would come out at around 2015-2017.
