Mo is a supporting protagonist in The Land Before Time IX: Journey to Big Water. Mo has made a couple of cameo appearnces in The Land Before Time X: The Great Longneck Migration, and The Land Before Time XII: The Great Day of the Flyers. He also appeared in an episode of the TV series, The Missing Fast Water Adventure the first time where he sees Chomper and Ruby. Mo is incredibly playful, and often plays practical jokes on others, though in good humor. Like Petrie, Mo speaks in broken English and often refers to himself in the third person.
