Benjamin Bloch (played by Scott Hylands) was a Major General in the US Marine Corps and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was to speak at a re-dedication ceremony for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.. This was against the wishes of the FBI, who learned that Jon Steffan and Peter MacDougal had been murdered that same day. Nevertheless, Bloch proceeded to participate in the ceremony and was nearly killed by Nathaniel Teager.
