Pikmin is a video game franchise owned by Nintendo. In it, an alien from the planet Hocotate named Olimar crash-landed onto PNF-404 (future Earth). While trying to repair his ship, he discovers three tribes of Pikmin: Red, Blue, and Yellow. He uses those Pikmin to help him gather the parts of the S.S. Dolphin while fighting "giant" beast along the way. Sometime later, his boss has him travel with Louie to find treasure in the Planet of Pikmin to undo the debt he owns. After that, new settlers from Koppai travel to the planet to stop a famine.
