Paolilli was a member of the Dominion Marine Corps, serving under Captain Veers and stationed on Maltair IV, serving as part of the bodyguard of Senator Corbin Phash. Paolilli's job became slightly more interesting, however, when the zerg invaded the planet, so Veers lead a retreat into a vespene gas mine. Seventy hours later, the zerg gained entry and Veers lead his men against the invaders. Paolilli survived a skirmish with the zerg but was killed during their retreat to a safe bunker.
