Alexander V Philopator (Greek: Αλέξανδρος Φιλοπάτωρ Aléxandros Philopátōr; 213 BC- 172 BC) reigned as the fifth Pharaoh of the Alexandridis dynasty of Néa Aígyptos from 190-172 BC. He was the son of Alexander IV and Berenice II. The decline of the Alexandrine dynasty began under the reign of Alexander V.
