Chiriqui(VWF119) was born in the Whiskers on February 1, 2007. She was born into a large mixed litter of eight pups. Her mother was confirmed to be Petra, and her father was an unknown male. Her confirmed litter-mates were Rhogan Josh(VWM116), Amira(VWF117), and Murray(VWM122). Her other possible litter-mates, mothered by either Petra, Flo, or Ella, were Burdock(VWF115), Squig(VWF118), Rufus(VWM0120), and Etosha(VWM121). They were born roughly a week after the long-term dominant female Flower died. Chiriqui's aunt Rocket Dog became the new dominant female of the group. The Whiskers were a large group, so the eight pups had many babysitters and caretakers, but the group had swelled to nearly fifty members, beyond capacity.
