Spirits and Steel was a Tamori Yamabushi kata, who concentrated on the kami surrounding them, and changed as he continued his movements. The kata helped the Yamabushi sense the ripples every one of his movements caused on the world around him. When the kata was complete, they were attuned to the movements of both the blade and the kami.
