Erath was a planet located on the edge of the Outer Rim Territories. It was a volcanic planet that had a highly developed social structure, but a bloody war brought about the fall of the once great empire. The survivors tried to keep hold of what there was, but there was no hope of bringing the empire back. As more and more people died from dehydration and starvation, the creatures of Erath multiplied and prospered. Soon, the planet was desolate except for the volcanic creatures that dwelt the lava oceans and igneous rock.
