In 2 BBY, the Corellian Treaty was signed, forming the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Two of the signers were Jedi Master Jeden Vesal and his former apprentice, Koses Lik-Har, who had escaped the massacre of Order 66 due to the Clone troopers under their command disobeying the Order and helping the Jedi fight the Empire. Koses, an incredibly skilled pilot during the Clone Wars, was selected by Admiral Gial Ackbar to be the leader of the first squadron to use the new A-wing starfighters.
