The Hoe is a tool in Harvest Moon 64. It is one of the five upgradeable tools that start in the character's inventory. The hoe is used to till soil on the player's farm or in the greenhouse. Seeds must be planted in tilled soil. The hoe is also used to dig in the mine (open in the winter), to dig up the music box, and to find a power berry on your farm. The hoe upgrades every 300 uses, for a maximum of two times.
