The Gigantic Ant is an enemy in EarthBound that appears in the gold mine in the Dusty Dunes Desert. Its sprite is a recoloring of the Titanic Ant's, and indeed is very similar to it too, having many identical attacks. However, it should be very easy to defeat, given your party's much higher levels and advanced attacks. Be cautious when facing this enemy as it can cast PSI Paralysis α at any moment. Also, using PSI Freeze usually results in a OH-KO. Oddly enough, the Gigantic Ant's overworld sprite looks like a minimized version of the Arachnid! in the Rainy Circle cave.
