The UNSC Seaborne Naval Command, colloquially known as the Wet Navy is the primary sea-based naval branch of the UNSC Navy. The branch consists of various seagoing naval ships responsible for the protection of civilian vessels and support of ground forces during a time of war. The wet navy utilises seaborne ships such as the Serpent-class Aircraft Carrier and the Seeungeheuer-class Support Ship of which are typically docked on worlds with large populations, such as Earth, Reach, and Minister.
