The Redford Royals were a Tier II Junior "A" team in Redford Township, Michigan. The team played in the Great Lakes Junior Hockey League from 1978 to 1984. A second incarnation of the team was formed when the Plymouth, Michigan based Hennessy Engineers relocated to Redford and played in the North American Hockey League from 1987 to 1989. The team was then renamed NACE for the 1989-90 season.
