The March League Crisis was an event that happened in March 1938. After the Battle over Zeeland, the League of Nations was angry with the British, and told them to pay reparations. Britain was angry with this, and believed that the Dutch need not have become involved. Then on the 24 March, Britain left the League, followed by India (The British Raj) and the dominions in its Commonwealth (South Africa, Australia, Canada and New Zealand). The powers mandates remained under their control.
