This was the first WRC round in Poland since 2009 and was won by the ever-dominant Sebastien Ogier who extended his title lead over Jari-Matti Latvala to 50 points. Completing the podium were Andreas Mikkelsen and Thierry Neuville respectively. This was the first podium for Mikkelsen's new co-driver Ola Floene.
