The First Siege of Dragonspire was a battle and siege in the 346 AC rebellion (Civil War) that lasted from January 20th, 347 AC, to later the next year on March 11th, 348 AC. The siege was a bitter draw for both sides of the wall, with the Dragomyrs beginning to starve and the armies outside freezing to death from the particularly frigid winter of 348 AC. The armies of Dalan Karthmere withdrew after nearly a year in status quo outside the walls. When the attacking troops were about to break through to the other side of the Dragonspire, armies from the north led by Daemalor Celtheon assaulted the nearby rebel-occupied city of Crownprice, completely destroying the city and everything in its wake.
