Lieutenant Francisca Juarez was a female Human Starfleet officer serving aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2367. She was married to Alfredo Juarez and had a son. Juarez became pregnant in late 2366. She entered labor at 0400 hours on stardate 44390.1, giving birth to her son at the same time the Enterprise-D confronted the Romulan D'deridex-class Devoras and shortly before the wedding of Miles O'Brien and Keiko Ishikawa. Later that day, Captain Jean-Luc Picard visited her baby in the ship's nursery and personally welcomed him aboard. (TNG: "Data's Day" )
