On the planet Gallaphron in C.Y. 10089, he tortured political prisoners and brainwashed them and then escaped the planet disguised among them. The brainwashing caused them to think that they were him when prodded for information, which was a clever disguise. When he and the people that he traveled with crash landed on the Andromeda Ascendant, the crew managed to ferret him out after several hours.
