The 2008–09 Kelowna Rockets season is the franchise's 18th season in the Western Hockey League (WHL). The team entered the season as last year's second placed team in the B.C. Division, and fifth placed team in the Western Conference, with a total of 84 points. They are looking to improve upon their 38–26–8 record from their 2007–08 season. They will conclude the regular season against the Spokane Chiefs on March 15, 2009.
