Farside Station was a Cardassian station on the opposite side of Cardassian space from Bajor. Berat was assigned here as systems control officer prior to the coup led by the Revanche party. (DS9 novel: Betrayal) Berat stated that the basic plans for all Cardassian stations are essentially the same. This may indicate that Farside Station is a Nor class station, or at least very similar.
