David MacCreedy (born 11th February 1969 in Workington, Cumbria) appeared on Coronation Street as DS Scott, the leading detective investigating the death of Polish worker Kasia Barowicz at Underworld during April 2007 and returned to the programme in January 2017 as Tom, an old friend of Pat Phelan's. On stage he has appeared in productions of Love on the Dole, A Streetcar Named Desire, Macbeth, The Flame Haired Dynamo, Bouncers and Flatspin.
