Blackstein is very easy to bully, and Brad frequently calls him "Brainstein" with ironic intent. He doesn't seem to believe in himself, and he's very slow on the draw. In the episode Adderall, he decides to join the Gay Club so he can get into college instead of studying, though this is also probably a result of being lazy.
