Straw Targets were established as a Scorpion military unit shortly after a peasant rebellion among the Scorpion heimin. The peasants used dummy targets to draw the forces sent against them into positions that were hard to defend, before they were ambushed. These peasants were recruited with a role among the Scorpion military.
