The Lorn System was a star system in the Republic of Haven. A relatively important secondary naval shipyard was located in the system, a satellite yard that handled the refit of below-the-wall warships and LACs. Together with Solon, it was a target of the Royal Manticoran Navy's Operation Cutworm III. Admiral Alice Truman commanded the attack. Her forces managed to destroy the shipyard, every bit of its supporting industry, and every mobile unit in the system for the cost of only six LACs. (HH11)
