Samuel Harmon was the first Senator of the Galactic Alliance from 2,000 to 2,020 ABY, and later became Chief of State after the assassination of Vallorum II. He remained in this position from 2,020 to 2,055 ABY. After that date, he became Emperor of the Third Galactic Empire until 2,075 ABY, during which time he was also the head of the Reborn Sith Order. He orchestrated the New Clone Wars to take over the Alliance, the Jedi Extermination Wars to eliminate the possibility of a Jedi-led rebellion, and the Second Galactic Civil War to keep his power. He was killed during the last war in 2,075 ABY by Xan Skywalker.
