Paralysing lip gloss was a type of lip gloss which — as opposed to hallucinogenic lipstick, which only created hallucinations — paralysed and poisoned whoever was kissed by its wearer. The victim's major organs would go into shutdown within two hours, and they would inevitably die. Captain John Hart owned such a device, and used it against Gwen Cooper. He claimed to have possibly learned the trick from Jack Harkness. Luckily, her Torchwood Three associates found her in time and managed to heal her with Toshiko Sato's anti-toxin kit.
