The coronation of Emperor Hadrian II as monarch of the Roman Empire took place on 28 June 1995, in Constantinople. The ceremony began in the Church of Saint Constantine, located in the Kosmidion District of the city, ending in the Palace of Ceremonies, located in the Imperial District. Hadrian ascended to this position due to him being the mortal incarnation of Aernus, and the fact that he was also a direct descendent of the previous Roman Emperor. Upon being crowned as the Emperor of the Romans, Hadrian crowned his wife Beatrice as the Empress consort.
