Charles Holland (1893-1940) was a Lovian-Brunanter politician and Governor of Clymene. Holland was born in Swintley, Brunant in 1893. Holland came to Lovia in 1915 to avoid any chance of being sent to war. Holland worked in a variety of jobs, selling newspapers, as a fishmonger, the first mechanic in Sofasi (in 1919) until finally making a name for himself selling shoe-shine and later shoes. He was elected governor in 1937 and would be re-elected in 1939. He was a centrist politician and fairly popular for cooperating well in government. He died in a car accident in 1940.
