The Sword of Kahless (tlhIngan Hol: qeylIS betleH) was the bat'leth sword used by Kahless the Unforgettable. (tlhIngan Hol reference: Klingon for the Galactic Traveler) A group of Vulcan explorers found the remains of a Hur'q settlement in the Gamma Quadrant in 2372. They also found the Shroud of the Sword which Kor, a former ambassador to Vulcan, persuaded them to give it to him. He later told Jadzia Dax of his discovery, who determined that the Shroud was genuine. Worf, Dax and Kor later decided to beam the Sword into space for others to find, believing to return the Sword now would tear the Klingon Empire apart. (DS9 episode: "The Sword of Kahless")
