Mardas Godwin was a close cousin of Marscal Godwin and husband of Shahrewar Falenas, Crown Princess of Falena. During the Succession Conflict, Mardas and the House of Godwin supported Shahrewar as her younger sister, Falzrahm Falenas, attempted to seize Shahrewar's right to the throne. Mardas was one of the many nobles assassinated by Nether Gate operatives under Falzrahm's orders, as both sisters continued to use Nether Gate to murder their opponents.
