Tishtoriya, or Tishtrya, is a Zoroastrian Yazata associated with life-bearing rainfall and fertility. In a hymn of the Avesta, Tishtoriya was responsible for defeating his archenemy Apaosha, a demon responsible for bringing drought to the land.
