An Incoming Wormhole is the term used to describe an offworld Stargate dialling in. An incoming wormhole is usually notified by each chevron lighting up or the gate spinning (Milky Way gates). On Pegasus gates the inner ring lights up clockwise. On Destiny and other early gates each chevron lights up at the same time followed by the whole gate spinning. Other forms of warning for incoming wormholes are "unscheduled offworld activation", and "incoming traveler".
