Sacul Vao was a female Twi'lek Sith apprentice. She was the apprentice of the Khommite Sith Lord, Darth Mutatos. She served not as his apprentice, but as a "special partner". She helped him to formulate his plans and to convince the Yuuzhan Vong Commander Hooley Krekk, to help them attack and capture Korriban. She and her Master then recreated the old Sith Academy at Dreshdae. Some of the creatures she helped create were modified nerfs, wampas, tuk'ata, shyracks, wraids, and terentateks.
