Nathaniel Adams is the superhero known as Captain Atom. In the distorted Flashpoint timeline, Captain Atom had gone alone to end the conflict between Atlantis and the Amazons. Later on it is revealed that he has in fact been captured and is the source of power for Aquaman's doomsday device.
