Rowan Court was one of five 15 storey tower blocks in the Charleston area of Paisley. It was approved in 1968 and construction was carried out by Wimpey. The building is 43m tall. In the 1990s, after the demolition of one of the tower blocks, Hamilton Court was refurbished. External improvements included a red roof which led it and the three other high flats to be given the imaginative moniker, 'the red tops'
