Ichiro Katashi was son of Ichiro Kohiro, daimyo of the Fortress of Teeth. In the break of the War of Dark Fire his father sent out Katashi and his brother Ichiro Hira, alongside their families, while Kohiro and his men made their last stand to the yobanjin Army of Fire, who overrun the defenders.
