Monotonous carriage rides are the most feared element among any adventuring group. The term became widely known after a group of heroes who had survived a long, insanely boring (and thus monotonous) carriage ride during the Arawn Losstarot War told their stories to local bards who spread the tale. Since that dreadful ride every group has done its best to avoid repeating the same mistake the previous heroes had done, and thus many people have actually begun suffering from an intense phobia relating to carriages in general.
